Stock Trading Tips

Stock Trading is an art. Many people start out depositing money in an online trading account, then look for the right stock. It can be dificult for a first time stock trader. There are just so many stocks to choose from; over thirty thousand. Some people only look at stocks suggested by others, some get sucked into penny stock scams. Most people quickly learn the key elements of stock trading because they have so much at stake.

I started stock trading with three thousand dollars in my datek account and two months later I lost my entire investment. I learned not to purchase heavily touted companies posted on message boards such as Yahoo finance, Lycos Ragingbull, and news letters I unexpectedly received. I learned that doing my own stock research was the best method; I read the financials, and looked at the insiders. I realized there was a difference between realistic projections and misleading numbers. Researching every aspect of your investments is important, and could have a giant impact on the out come of your portfolio. Some of the methods I learned early on in stock investing was buy low sell high. I know it sounds simple but its the only way to make money. Look for bargins in the market. By bargins I mean unusually high valuations followed with a low stock price. Look for stocks trading in the three to five dollar range, and follow their stories for a few months. If you see an uptrend develope you may have found your self a great stock trading oppertunity.
